Pakistani Star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is no doubt World Class bowler. After his debut in 2019, Shaheen became a consistent performer in white and red ball cricket. His outclass bowling in World Cup 2021 against India made him a Fan-favourite bowler.
After this incident, he is disabled and not seen in the Netherlands ODI series, Asia Cup 2022. Now in England’s T2OI Series.
PCB and Selection Committee Saying about Shaheen:
The Selection Committee also declared that he is included in this World Cup 2022 squad. He’ll join the Pakistan team in Australia after England’s Series before the mega event starts.
Aaqib Javed remarks about Shaheen’s comeback:
Aaqib Javed just says that this will irritate his injury. Talking to the Media, Aaqib said,
“When you get injured, you have two types of injuries. If you are injured during bowling,then something is wrong. Or you are not getting enough rest or you are trying to do more. He is unfit for dive that Shaheen Afridi took. Pacers like Shaheen Shah Afridi are not born every day. My advice to Shaheen Shah is not to play this T20 World Cup. Because Shaheen is more important than World Cup.”
Shaheen recovers himself from this injury:
It is important to mention that he is currently spending his time in rehabilitation in England. This star guy is struggling hard to overcome this huge injury. It is not so easy to come back to the same action and same format. But, the Cricket Board has said that the Shaheen is improving day by day and will be available hopefully for the mega event in Australia.
Last week, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sent Umar Rasheed, the bowling coach at National High-Performance Center (NHPC), to supervise Shaheen Afridi’s rehabilitation process. It is very important because this guy is needed for this Mega event in Australia.
Let’s see his Instagram video in which he readies himself for an upcoming Event;
PCB is hopeful to set this star pacer to come back in his action. Even though, the Pakistani people are willing to see this Magical star pacer in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.
